Hello!

I am 32 years old and I live in a quiet area in Suurpelto with my dog Tiger, and my cat Cosmin, both boys and castrated. Tiger is a rescue dog and the reason why I want to be a pet sitter! When I first got him I saw how difficult many everyday things were with a dog who wasn't ready to be alone yet. I saw that he needed attention and how time and patience helped him adjust to his new home.

I speak English and my Finnish is quite basic level still, but I can give commands to your dog in Finnish as they are trained. 

I can offer care specifically for your dog's/cat's needs - I can provide many potty breaks, I can take your dog in early in the morning or keep him/her until late at night if needed, I can choose a quieter or busier time at the dog park to take your dog if you prefer, anything specific. I can also make sure to keep your dog off the bed if you are training him/her to stay off yours. Just tell me about your dog and we can plan together how the daycare will go:)

For cats I can have multiple litter boxes and I currently have 2 cat trees, one of which is in the glazed balcony. There are also plenty of cat toys and cozy little corners for your curious cat to discover. There are no expensive items here so a few scratches here and there or the occasional mess are all okay and completely understandable!

The area is quite peaceful and there is a forest and parks next to my building and 2 dog parks quite close. The area is very quiet especially in the evening and not too many noises to attract interest during the day. The apartment (studio) is dog-proof & cat-proof so it is safe for your pets, although they will be supervised at all times. We have an elevator for the VIP doggos and there's a sofa and bed where your dog or cat is welcome.

About my pets:

- Tiger is 4 years old and a rescue who has grown up around other dogs and cats. He's a tripod so he won't be too much for a small dog, but he does LOVE to play with big dogs! He gets along really really well with cats but he won't bother them so he is actually the ideal company for a cat! He gets along better with small or medium dogs and mostly with boys but he could also get along with girls and bigger dogs, and he's castrated. Because Tiger is a rescue and can overreact, it is very important that your dog meets him outside before the booking, to make sure they are a good match so that your furbaby is comfortable in our home with Tiger 😊

- Cosmin is a very cuddly and super chill cat. He is more comfortable about calm dogs so he might be a bit scared around a big dog with a lot of energy, but he has been practicing with my friend's golden retriver boy and I can guarantee he will not attack your dog with his nails if he's scared, he will only run and hide under the bed 😅
