Hi! I’m Alan, and I live on the border of Ruoholahti and Jätkäsaari, Helsinki. Dogs have been part of my life since early childhood, so being around them feels natural to me. I have a Shiba Inu who is currently staying with my parents. I miss having a dog around and would love to spend more time caring for pets in my neighbourhood.

Through years of owning dogs, I have learned to understand their behaviour, personalities and everyday needs. I also have experience teaching commands and working on basic training. I know that every dog is different, and I believe in patience, consistency and following the owner’s instructions.

I get along very well with cats too. They often choose my lap as a place to settle down and relax! I enjoy their company and respect their space when they prefer some quiet time.

I offer dog walks, home visits for dogs and cats, and overnight stays in the owner’s home. Before booking, we will discuss your pet’s routine, the length of walks and visits, and any special requirements.

During overnight stays, I follow your pet’s usual feeding, walking and bedtime routine. A typical stay includes an evening walk or playtime, keeping your pet company overnight, and feeding and a walk in the morning. We will agree on arrival and departure times and any daytime absences beforehand. Pets will not be left alone for more than four hours, and I can follow a shorter limit if agreed before booking.

I treat your home with care. I lock doors, check windows before leaving, and follow your instructions for keys and alarms. I keep keys secure, never invite visitors, and do not share your address or access details. I’m happy to send photos and short updates during the stay.

I speak English and Russian, and my Finnish is at A2 level. I’m happy to communicate in simple Finnish too. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!
