Hi, I’m a 41 year old animal lover and qualified kindergarten teacher available for petsitting. Oh, a kindergarten teacher, so nice, she's so trustworthy! Definitely not a criminal of sorts.

Why should you choose me? Because I’m an honest, ethical person with a lifelong genuine love and respect for animals. I think animals need us more than people do. I believe each animal has its own personality and (no two of them are born the same) and actively communicates with us if we are willing to listen/watch. Growing up, I cannot remember a time when my home was not full of pets. The first few years in Finland did not give me the opportunity to have pets and I always felt like something was missing from my life.

I loved cats before they were cool.

Also, If you find yourself trusting a mature aged sitter with a child like love for animals, then I'm your choice.

What I will do:

I will be with your pet a minimum of half an hour per visit. (I had this sentence on my profile for about 2 years and I have never ended a visit after half an hour. It never felt like enough. It's always been a minimum of an hour)

I will, of course, clean the cat litter and play with your pet, cuddle and keep him/her happy. Not all pets have the same need for closeness or the same pace in familiarizing with strangers and I will respect that. I will keep you up to date with how your furry ones are doing with pictures and videos and ask details regarding care so I can be the best replacement for you when you're away.

I will water your plants too, all I need is a watering schedule.

In case we are talking about a doggie, I will go with your dog for a long walk in your neighborhood. If your cat/dog made any mess, it's my job to clean it. :) 

Also, great news, I can clean after myself, too. 

How it works if you're a first time client:

Once we agreed on my being your potential petsitter, it is best you book a familiarization visit first. It's the same as booking a petsitting visit, but this time I meet your pet in your presence and you can show me around the house: for example, where's the dry food, where is the litter, etc. This is a good opportunity for us to meet face to face, but also to show in person how the routine works. :)

If the visit was successful and you feel you trust I am the right sitter for your baby, book the pet sitting days through the app and I will accept them. If your holiday is not far from this date, you could already give me the key to the apartment.

If you're really not up to seeing my face in person and don't think a visit is necessary that's fine too! You can leave written instructions, send pictures, use post it notes and put things in plain sight for me to find. I only need to get the key from you and I can take care of the rest. :)

Finally, I hope you are comfortable using English with me because if I will attempt an adult conversation in Finnish, I am afraid I will not sound very smart.🙂
