Since childhood, I have always been surrounded by pets and animals. Although getting a pet of my own would not be the best choice in my life today, I am happy to spend time with other people's animals. I've had some great experiences in pet-sitting here in Helsinki, and I'll be very happy to take care of your furry / feathery / etc friend! I have been a petsitter for the last 3 years, and in my care so far, I have had dogs of different breeds and sizes, cats and even some smaller animals, so no task is too difficult.
I work normal office hours full time but I often work remotely so I am also available to spend a whole day with your pet upon request. For well-behaved dogs who like to meet new humans, my office is also dog-friendly!
My schedule is pretty flexible so I can accommodate your needs whether you need a short home visit or a daycare service.
I live in a shared apartment with a roommate who is also very happy to spend time with pets. For house rules, I am happy to be consistent with your pet's normal schedule for walks and anything regarding the place to sleep, access to rooms etc. I live in a nice green neighborhood with parks and dog playgrounds within a few minutes' walk.
I pride myself on being very respectful of animals' personalities - every animal, like every human, is an individual, and I enjoy getting to know them!
I know you are worried about your beloved pet when you are away so i keep in touch with the owners throughout the stays and am always happy to snap a few pics for you. And don't just take my word for it - feel free to ask me for references!
Olga was a great dog sitter! We hired her to come to our house and and house sit with our dog, and she did a great job caring for her. I highly recommend, and we will definitely book with her again!
Olga took great care of my dog Kivi for the weekend and was very flexible with my changing time schedule and tumbles. Sent very good updates on how Kivi was doing! :-D Thank you Olga!
