Olemme Helsinkiläinen pariskunta, joilla on elämänmittainen kokemus erilaisten eläinten hoidosta. Justin on kotoisin Yhdysvalloista, Pohjois-Carolinasta ja Vera suomesta. Lemmikkeinä Justinilla on ollut amerikoissa mm. Saksanpimenkoiramix Lily ja nykyisin erityiskoira australianpaimenkoira Coco, kilpikonna nimeltä Speed ja kaksi undulaattia, sekä samanaikaisesti 4 kissaa. Hänellä on siis hyvin paljon kokemusta erilaisista lemmikeistä. Veralla on ollut mm. Hamsteri Sampo, Afrikkalainen kääpiösiili Lola, sekä nykysin kaksi kania, Rocket ja Lydia.

Meillä on molemmilla päivätyö, joten eroahdistuneita lemmikkejä emme voi tällä hetkellä hoitaa. Hoito kuitenkin räätälöidään lemmikin tarpeiden mukaisesti. Majoitamme mielellämme lintuja, siilejä, kaneja, chinchilloita, hamstereita, kissoja, sekä koiria joilla ei ole voimakasta metsästysviettiä. Asumme pihallisessa kerrostalossa, eli esimerkiksi koiralla on tilaa ulkoilla 50 neliön kokoisella aidatulla pihalla turvallisesti niin usein kun on halua. Omat kanimme voivat hoidettavien aikana majoittua turvallisesti asunnon toisessa huoneessa, sillä ne elävät normaalisti vapaana. Kanimme ovat RHD rokotettuja ja terveitä. Otathan rohkeasti yhteyttä, niin sovitaan hoidosta, oli sitten kyseessä vain lenkitys, talonvahti, lemmikin majoitus tai vain ruokinta loman aikana. Myös erityishoitoa vaativat lemmikit ovat tervetulleita! (Esim. Iho-ongelmaiset, kuurot, erityislääkitystä tarvitsevat sekä iäkkäät)

We are a married couple from Helsinki, and we have a vast experience in caring and working with different species of pets. Justin is from North Carolina and Vera is Finnish. Throughout his life Justin has had multiple pets, such as German shepherd mix Lily, a 3 legged special needs dog Coco, 4 cats, a turtle named Speed, and birds as well. Vera has had a dwarf hamster Sampo, an african hedgehog Lola, and now we own 2 rabbits, Rocket and Lydia.

Vera works in the social field during the day and Justin works from home, so there is always someone at the house with your pet. Your pets care will be tailored to suit your needs and we are very flexible. We would love to host your birds, reptiles, hamsters, hedgehogs, rabbits, cats or dogs without a strong hunting sense. We live in an apartment with a large, fenced 40 sqm yard, so for example dogs can safely enjoy outside as much as they want or don't. Whenever we are hosting pets, our rabbits are placed safely in the apartments separate room. We freeroam our rabbits, so they are never caged, and live much like cats, using a litterbox. They are fully vaccinated against RHD.
Please contact us, as we would love to host your pet, wether it's just for walks, keeping them while you travel, just going to feed them, or hosting them at our place! Special needs animals are also very welcome, such as deaf animals, blind animals, skin disorders or other medical special needs.)
